Just curious what a fair asking price for a Brand New 20 gig MK2a without the car harness/dock. Everything else is included though. It would be good for someone who just wants a second unit.

I don't know what the other members would say but I would think it would be worth what the members of this forum are willing to pay. You are not likely to find many people outside the forum willing to take one knowingly without a way to mount it in the car.

Maybe you could offer it for the going rate of a new 20gig minus the price of a new sled.

I bought an extra unit for a friend (He didn't end up wanting it) so I figured no harm done I'm sure I can sell it. Then I was thinking about just keeping the sled to use in a Home Docking unit, and selling the rest. Just curious what price I would get?

Seeing as how I just paid $480 for it and sleds only run around $120 the least I would take is $360 since I could just sell it all together and buy a sled later..

Why all the questions? Is that an odd price or something...Seems to me that the going price on ebay was alot more than that even.

I am sure that its worth something worth your while. If I had a few extra bucks that I could afford, I would make a decent offer and use it as a spare. While I have had no trouble with mine in a year and a half, I know that it wont last forever. As much as I love it, a spare would be perfect.
