I'm thinking about doing some real {quantitative} tuning of my system and someone suggested there may some good RTA software for the PC. Has anyone had experience with such a beast? Does it work well? What type of microphone is required? Sound card? I'm hoping maybe I can put something together for a couple hundred bucks (<300 or so).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
