I just noticed that Drakino did a little re-arranging of the RioCar.org photo gallery pages. I feel honored that my Honda install is being used to highlight the main page now.

And we also get to see this photo of Hugo and some MK1's on the main page as well:



I think they should have let him stand on a stool or something for that photo, though.

Yeah, I figured some rearranging needed to be done. I'd like to get the user gallery reverse sorted, but I haven't looked at the code yet. I need to test the newest Gallery, since I've made some under the hood changes to the code to fix some bugs and such. I believe all the changes made it in to the main code, as I sent off the needed .patch files.

Gallery 1.2.3 and above supports a cool little java applet for uploading images as well. Should be helpful to people like Jim H, who maintains 3 galleries.

I'll probably look at changing the highlight photos every month or so. And if anyone dosen't like the photo on their page, feel free to change it. Simply use the "highlight photo" option in the drop down box. I did this to a few galleries showing pictures I felt wern't decent quality for the highlight photo.

The 1.3 rc1 version of Gallery is out. I've got it up and running and there's a bunch of sweet new features. The Gallery Remote is kick ass too... i've been using it for a while on my galleries. Drag and drop uploading.

What are some of the other features? I recently had to recompile PHP and somewhere along the line, my gallery just blew up. I'm gonna wait for the final version 1.3, but for now I'm just very curious.

The random photo sidebox for Nuke is pretty cool too... might be a nice addition to the main page...

check the changelog on the gallery site. There's a list of subalbums on the main album page (which i hacked to be a dropdown menu instead of a huge text list)... umm... some new move tools, i can't remember everything. Just check the changelog. =]
