Hi All,

I'm looking for the older v2.07b. Does anyone know where I can find this?

2.0 beta 7 has been removed, since beta 11 fixes some serious bugs in beta 7.

The only two versions you should be considering for usage at this time are 1.03 and 2.0 beta 11. Both of those are available at the www.empeg.com support site.

Take Tony's advice on this. Beta 7 zapper several gigs of my music. Such is the risk of using a beta release!

I think beta 11 had a bug with the volume after the player was re-connected to the car sled. The volume would not ramp up as it did in v2.07b Was there ever a fix for that?

It still ramps up; it just does it in a very herky-jerky fashion. That is, instead of a smooth ramp, it jumps up two or three times. It is quite annoying, and I understand your reasons for wanting to use beta7. There is not a fix for this other than to disable the ramp-up function from within emplode (and I've not actually done that, so it might not work either).

The only thing that was disabled in 11 was the normalization correct?

Well, if some still has 2.07, could they e-mail it to me?

Or maybe a link to where I can download it?

I would greatly appreciated it...

Thanks - Frank

For legal and technical reasons Rob has specifically asked people not to distribute older versions of the software that have been removed from the empeg website.
