Just wanted to say that we notice the little touches you add from time to time!

Thanks, was just messing with that this morning. All I did was reformat it a bit and add Brian's buttonhack site. The main thing is that I like to view the BBS in a fairly narrow window, and it was irritating me that the quicklinks line would wrap all the time. So I changed it to two lines, carefully reformatted it, and changed some points of wording so that the two lines would be equal.

Also, I changed the "Latest Software" link so that we don't have to edit it every time a new piece of software comes out, and I updated the name of the other BBS. Since I finally got around to editing the masthead graphic to say "Central".

Tony, I noticed clicking on the "Central" link opens a new windown now.. but coming back to the empeg BBS doesn't... is this by design?

If you click to open say the hijack site, then you click the central site, the central one will open in the window which was displaying hijack.
Could / would you change that so eachlink will open its own new window?
Thats just the way I browse with LOTS of windows open at once...

That's actually how I intended for it to work. I do the same thing.

I deliberately changed the links to "target=_new" in the header, but for some reason or other, the stylesheet changes it so that it doesn't work. I don't know why. I'll look into it.

Yeah, I don't get it... "target=_new" is there in the HTML and for some reason it's not getting honored....

Seems to work better with target=_blank, so I'll leave it like that for a while.

Too bad there isn't a "Open in Current Window" right-click option in IE to force against new windows...

There is. Drag the link up to the Address bar. That's how I do it anyway. Not that much more work than just a click.

If the "new window" thing is bugging too many people, then I'll change it back.

Note that almost every other link on the BBS is automatically a new window (not under my control, built into the code), even links to other posts, I was just trying to get it all working more consistently.
