why did sonic stop production on the rio car???

I really hope Fabris is out having a beer or at a LAN party or something...

Well I hope he is not cause I read that link and it never really answered my question. I understand it was stopped and software etc may still be made etc. I just wanted to know why would they end something that was so good, unique and high standard? thats what I am asking, I know it was ended but no reasons were ever made to why it was. Also, I know the software etc, is open source, but the Hardware..could anyone else take it over or duplicate it?

Okay, I added a couple of paragraphs.

Sounds like you need to do some searching on the bbs, some of this was discussed 1 or 2 days ago in the I WANT TO BRING BACK THE EMPEG thread. Im not trying to be rude, its just that this has been discussed several times over the last year and all it accomplishes is bringing up old feelings on how things were handled.
