There was a Cooper thread on here before, but there was not much info (unless you like Type-R vs. RSX vs. Focus arguments, which I find is like watching a political debate). I may be getting a Cooper S, but I want to make sure an install will go smoothly.... Anyone done it before?

I think he went for the Honda Civic Type R?

Seeing as there's a 1 year queue, I'm getting my cooper S, driving it a bit, and selling it (hopefully for at least as much as it cost me). The dealer thinks I'll have no problem.

Won't be changing the stereo though, mainly because it's more attractive "stock" when nearly-new.

Are we talkin' about the new Cooper Mini's?
If my truck ends up getting totaled (due to recent accident), I may actually get one of these. Wasn't interested at first, but then I got a booklet on one, and now that I hear that the replacing of a head unit is (relatively) simple, that's an even bigger plus.
