OK, I searched the FAQ and couldn't find the answer to this question. Hopefully I'm not blind.

I commonly add new MP3s to my loocal hard drive and occasionally want to sync up my EMPEG. The problem is that if I just drag all the files in again then the software says I'm taking up too much space, even though it has identifies most of the songs as duplicates.

So, is there an easy way to have the player sync up to only the changed or added files on my local machine?

Do you have playlists created it so you need to uncheck the option to import .m3u files otherwise the files will be loaded twice.

And if you think using this software is a pain try using the pile of crap real jukebox.

I just maintain a mirror on my harddrive, and use my Linux empsync script to update the players periodically. But it doesn't do anything with custom playlists yet.
