My dad's office recently went over to Win XP. I came in the office today and my mouse pointer has inexplicably been changed into a hand! The hand does various things for different events, and all I want to know is: how do I make it stop??? It's SOOOO damn annoying! I changed to the default Windows XP theme, and I checked the pointers tab in the mouse settings. Nothing appears to be different, and I can't see any way of getting rid of this horrible thing. What is this??

You haven't got Comet Cursor installed, or anything daft like that, have you?

No, I don't think so. I've closed almost all running programs. And I'd probably be getting a lot of junk right now if CC was running

Ah, I'm sorry. I didn't know XP had a "Cursor Theme" that is seperate from the pointers tab. How irritating.

Now I'm back to the plain old white one. Just how I like it.
