I have a 100-120V Rio Car PSU
It is the nice tiny 12V 1A switchmode unit with USA 2 prong plug
We use 240V here in Australia so it is no good to me,
Does anybody have the opposite problem and want to swap a 220-240V type PSU.
If there is such a thing?

I not long got my rio car and also am in Australia and received the US power pack.
I just went to Jaycar Electronics and picked up a Power Tech Plus 12v 1amp regulated AC Adaptor about $20aus ( Dick Smith and Tandy did'nt have one)
Solved my power probs.

Yeah some problem here (although I do use the 110V here at work where I have a variac on my desk),

The Dick Smith 12V 1A wouldn't cut it (didn't try Tandy though - I have worked in both places) and the player kept rebooting. The Jaycar MP3130 for $30 odd has worked flawlessly for me with 1 30G drive so far. It's a switchmode too so it's compact and light too.

I ended up dumping mine (US PSU), didn't see a lot of worth hanging on to it.
Like Accept, I too bought the Power Tech Plus MP-3137 from Jaycar.
Nice and compact, no problems.

Just how many Empeg's made it to Australia, There is 15 registered there must be a few more.
Beleive it or not we have a Jacar right here in Alice Springs.
I know the manager, he is trying to sell the store for a Real Bargain.
I didn't bother to ask him because I didn't think they would have a nice little switch mode jobbie - Well they won't guaranteed, he will have to order it in.

Well I've still got the 120V Supply if anybody is interested in a swap. Would trade it for a spare remote (wouldn't anybody)

But I was told I should contact David at empeg for a replacement power supply.. I bet you could write him for a sticker too (it was mentioned in the forum that you could.)...

But if you'd still like to trade, I'm up for it. I could use an extra power supply so I can keep one wired up in my stereo rack.
