Okay, I know this is a horrible retread, but I'm really getting fed up with the static in new tracks that are uploaded to my player.

I upload very infrequently, and I have already asked about the static and gotten that reply about the normalization and all that stuff. So I now upload about 30 tracks to the player, and they're ALL BAD. I go back to the computer, delete them, and upload again. STILL BAD. What can I do besides reverting to an older software version? I really don't want to do that at this point.

What version of the player software are you running?

There should be no static in any current version (1.03 and 2.0b11) unless the original files also have the problem to begin with.

Greetings!

a) Do the files have static before uploaded?
b) Using the download feature of emplode 2.00bX, download the file. Does it have static then?

Boy do I feel like a moron.

Yes, the original files have static.

That's the last time I rip with that drive...
