Hey,
Found a VU image on an empeg being auctioned here:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1359149347
Picture is the first one on the page. Anyone know where I can find that VU image (I know how to upload it and everything, but I've been trying to make a decent one for a while now, and had nothing anywhere near as good as the one pictured)
Many thanks,
A.

Yeah, in this thread. There's a few in there, one of them is the one in that picture.

I mis-read your post and thought someone was seeling a VU image only. I couldn't imagine anyone dumb enough just to buy a digital file.

I saw the escher-metamorphose on Rob Schofield's MK2 at the meet-party and found it very impressive.
cheers, Thomas

Password? You should be able to just click on the text and download the zip file... I just tested it. You're not using an ftp are you?

I use DAP (Download-Accelerator-Plus). Tried without it and it worked. My fault, should have tried this first...
Thanx, Thomas

Do you get that error when you are actually at the site ordid someone send you a link? I know that if I were to post a link to a file from here, it wouldn't work, but if you go to the page itself... that shouldn't happen.
I'm looking for a new hosting company anyway... freeservers blows... anyone know of a good cheap hosting company? I don't need much bandwidth but coould use the storage...

Hi Sport
Seems to be some kind of problem with Win XP. I can't post on the BBS either.
Now I'm using win98 - it works fine. I downloaded the VU image, connected my empeg to ethernet, ran Hyperterminal, Q and rw and rm and uploaded image, 644, ro and exit. Wow - it was the first time I did anything like this on my empeg. I'm pretty damn proud of myself!
All I have to do now, is to sort out why XP is fooling around.

Cool! Check out the Image Pan's and Tux logos too, just as easy!
