Is there a way to merge mp3's that are already on the empeg in a subdirectory into the database for playback? The reason for this is that there are times that I ftp mp3's to the empeg, but then would like to merge them without having to ftp the files back to my PC then run jEmplode.

I'm thinking that maybe the linux empeg utilities could be compiled for the empeg - but don't know what all this would entail. any ideas?

Getting the empeg tools to work on the empeg itself is probably doable, assuming that the empeg's ARM is little endian, as they won't compile on a big endian machine, as my PPC Linux is testament to. Apparently, ARMs come both ways, and I don't which way the empeg's is.

It's little-endian.
