When I skip a few tracks quickly and the use "fast forward" by holding down the skip button or using the remote, the player does not fast forward, it just keeps on playing the song. When I release the button after a while, the player skips to the next song. So it seems to think that it was a short press.
Also, if I change volume after a few track skips, there is a delay between the actual rotary angle and the volume. Sometimes the volume changes further although I stopped rotating the knob.
I just wanted to check if this is a "normal" behaviour.

These are not normal behavior. However, they are known bugs in the beta 13 software. The proper forum for discussing software bugs is the "Bug Reports" forum, where you can also perform searches for previously reported bugs.

You can work around these bugs by downgrading to the non-beta 1.03 software, but you will lose certain 2.0-only features and you will be unable to use Hijack.

Hi again,
as I found in this thread, the problem could be fixed without waiting for the next software release. But I found nothing about an attempt to do this or something.

The knob debounce logic is unrelated to the long-pause-before-fast-forwarding bug.
