Sadly, had to leave the meet early today (family commitments), but just wanted to say a huge thanks to Rob and Rob for all of the effort that's gone into organising this years meet!

It's definitely been proven that you can organise a piss up in a brewery, and that Robs neighbours must be about the most easy going around (the music was still playing at 4am!).

It was great to meet up with everyone, and both Brett and I are really hoping that the meet will run again next year!

I'll second that, not that I was around at 4.00, that really was one of the weekends to remember in my (Somewhat longer than most Empeggers) life, it just went from high to high and I was sorry that I'd arranged to pack in after the punting.
Imaginative choice of events, faultless organisation, Great Company: Rob and Rob, you are stars!

After a good slog up the M6/M74/M8 the three of us just arrived home safely thanks to red bull, and I'd like to add my appreciation of the team of Rob & Rob for a top weekend:-)

We have a couple of Gb of photos so will have to pop them up as soon as I recover!

For sure the best house party I've ever been to.

The food, that sound system + DJs, those lights, smoke machine, bubble machine, dave fire breating big flames, juggling, patrick's little chopper + gadgets, projector with crazy video things, and fantastic company...

Unreal.

HERE HERE !!!

Nicola and I had a great time, even though our visit was a little shorter than we may have liked. Cambridge proved to be a great place for the meet, the punting was spot on.

And this coming from a little boy who used to build lasers in his mums garden shed....Rob's lighting display was quite something! I don't think I have ever seen a garden transformation like it before, the things boys like myself can only dream of

Thanks for all the hard work and effort that went in, it really paid off, from the comments I overheard everyone had a fantastic time. So what are the plans for next year ?

Cheers

Cris.

(Only kidding, we'll give you a couple of weeks off before you start to plan next years )

AOL! AOL!

Truly fun weekend, and very well organized!

Indeed. Need some advance planning time to be able to come up with even more outrageous modes of transportation

Anyway, Pinkie is safely parked in front of Wayne's house in Harrogate, and I am typing this at Leeds Bradford airport on my way back to Amsterdam.

Eryl and I both had a brilliant weekend. Duxford was an inspired choice as the location for Saturday's event, the brewery was extremely enjoyable (and surprisingly educational) and the party at RobV's was amazing.

Well done Rob, Rob and everyone else who put in the usual staggering effort to make the weekend work.

Eryl and I were fairly restrained in our photo journalistic efforts, but there are a few shots of the weekend here:

If only Julf and Wayne could have secured the use of that Hercules or Chinook so the Pinkie could arrive in the style it was once accustomed to...

Glad you all had a good time! There were moments when I thought we might have bitten off a little *too* much this year, but it all came together somehow.

If anyone in the UK ever wants to hire a lighting rig and/or sound system you know who to talk to

Rob

Back at home now, again many thanks to all who worked out that weekend, especially Rob&Rob, of course. I'll be there next time for sure!
Pics and Videos not sorted yet, but soon to come...

Sorry it's taken so long to write this but better late than never!

The Robs have done an amazing job sorting things out this year. It's a shame I missed the Saturday morning/afternoon session. But I really enjoyed the bbq and the punting and it was great to meet up so many old faces (and meet plenty of new ones).

Here's to the Empeg Euro Meet 2007!!!!

I think it goes without saying that everyone had an awesome time. After going through the photos I took over the past few days, it's even more apparent how great this event was.

Thanks to Rob V and Rob S. Extra thanks to Rob V for letting us take over his back yard. I'm not sure I would want to clean up after something like that. Maybe you should just leave it all up for next year's meet.

Just want to say thanks as well. It was a great time and fun to see some people again and for the first time. I'll be up for it again next year.

Huge thanks to Rob and Rob and everyone else for their huge effort in coordinating and creating a vastly entertaining event. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones; what an interesting lot. And that garden party; amazing.

Overall excelent organisation, a top job, smashing, and simply brilliant! Here's hoping for empeg meet 2007 and that many more people are able to join us for a fun weekend.

Martina (aka "the Margerita Girl") and myself just returned from our England trip. We had a great time, especially the four days in Cambridge. So, Rob & Rob, thanks for all your effort to make this meeting a success! We both will be attending next year's meet for sure.

Martina & Peter
