CrackersMcCheese pooh-bah Registered: 14/01/2002 Posts: 2489	Hi I have an old 1.8Gb IDE hard drive that has files on it that I need to get back. Is there an adapter available which would allow me to connect this drive to my notebook via USB, ethernet, or some kind of pcmcia card? Cheers Phil

darwin enthusiast Registered: 10/01/2002 Posts: 205	If you don't want to spend much money and you have a friend w/ a cd writer, you can just add that hard drive to his computer and backup the whole thing on 3 cds. Shouldn't take more than 30 mintues all together. Heck, I'll even do it for you if you want.
