Who is "SSR Owner" and why does she have a pinmap?

Is this the grammar police? I take the fifth.

It's just a google map with the home locations of a bunch of fanatic Chevy SSR pickup owners listed.

I was going to ask why anyone would buy an SSR... Or any Chevy for that matter.

It's a title of the pinmap: SSR Owners. No possesion required.

I often wonder if they make one of those curvy-type trucks that isn't SSR. I mean, SS is a historically bad-ass name, coupled with R for some heavy fire power. But did they make a base model? Or is the truck just THAT good?

"Curvey truck" is the best way I could describe it. I only know it as the "SSR", which struck me as two suffixes and not a model name. Like a person named "Jr. PhD". There was my confusion.

"Base model" as in there's Impala and Impala SS, I was wondering if there's a lesser "SSR" without the awesome engine (I'm a fan of GM engines, too).

The aggressive font on the R made me think "Racing", akin to Honda Civic Type R. Then again, I always have misunderstood car model prefix letters.
