Well, rather than bump up my old post on getting a new laptop, I decided to post a new one. I still haven't purchased a new laptop, but I'm getting close to figuring out what I want. I'm still mostly considering a new/refurbished Dell, but the more I look at these laptops from Alienware, the more I want one. They definitely have a high coolness factor. So, I was hoping that if anyone on this board has a Area-51m or knows anyone with one, that you could please let me know what you thought of it.

I've always been a PowerBook guy (right now I have an old G4 Ti), and as much as I'd like to purchase a new one, I really can't justify it until Apple comes out with their liquid cooled, fuel cell powered, dual G5 Powerbook.
