I use EAC/LAME for my ripping/encoding, with VBR.

When the LAME screen is up, it shows rows of %%%% and **** for the varying encoding rates. It looks like the overall lengths of those rows is an indication of how much of the track is being recorded at the particular bit rate.

My question is... what do the %%%%s signify, and what do the ****s signify?
