what equipement will i need in terms of cables and such. basically im looking to buy it all online soon

Call Crutchfield (CALL CALL CALL, do not poke around on the web site) and have them get you an amplifier wiring kit with the amp. It will all come with all the stuff you need including a booklet showing you all you need to know. And if you run into trouble, you can call them for help.

Remember that your amplifier will be wired directly to the car battery, and run through the firewall and under the carpet. There will need to be a weatherproof fuse block in the engine compartment, as close to the battery as possible.

You will need a soldering iron and shrink tubing and the knowledge/skill to use them.

If any of that makes you uncomfortable, hire a professional to do the job instead.
