Dunno what "pending" means.. I think WD invented that word in this context.
The "reallocated" count tells how many bad sectors have been remapped to good spares.

And I find that the vendor's tools overlook errors ON PURPOSE to reduce the number of warranty returns. Seagate definitely does this too.
