MAke sure you have downloaded the correct image for your player - ie. that you are not mistakenly downloading a Mk 1 image to a Mk 2 or vice versa. Each image is optimised for the available memory of the hardware in each player, so exceptions and seg faults as you see in your boot log dump may point to this.
