If you screw your eyes up and look hard enough at the log (ignoring junk that came from the kernel) you'll see:

E !! local_audio_component.cpp 543: Invalid tune information for ID 0x0. This is bad.

I suspect this is a red herring but the traceback looks like something to do with the playlist code. I'll investigate further tomorrow.

Has anyone done much with empty playlists?
