If I recall correctly, the opening in the dash is 2" x 7", so I would probably have to do some trimming (easier on the piece over the tray area, not so easy for the rest of the dash). The Kenwood installs behind and flush with the dash, so to do anything with the head-unit, I have to take the dash apart (been done many times, but not for daily use).

I'll wait and see if/when I get my empeg in to just what the dock looks like, and maybe just fabricate mounting plates for it. I wouldn't mind going just Empeg and amp, but I'd rather run both if I can..

Man, I wish there were better pictures (with measurements) of what is included with the package. I never even knew those were mounting tabs on the sides of the docking cage. I thought they were retaining tabs. They might work, but I kinda doubt the hole is in the right position.
