the only reason u would need an fm modulator is if you
A. dont have an amp
B. want to use your existing stereo

but using an fm modultor will

A. give you crap sound
B. look like your listing to radio not the empeg

but it is the cheaper way to get the empeg working over an amp, but u will loose sound quility.
