I have taken Richard's wonderful voladj feature (automatic volume adjustment) and added support to turn it on/off using the front panel buttons on the player.

This means we can enable/disable the voladj mid-song, to see the before/after effects. I've also added code to default it "on" in the car (battery mode) and "off" at home "non-battery mode". The front panel buttons can still be used to override this in either location, of course.

So.. to turn it off, hold down the BOTTOM button (or the KNOB) and press the LEFT button.

To turn in on, hold down the BOTTOM buttom (or the KNOB) and press the RIGHT button.

I suppose this could be extended considerably, to "hijack" the front panel from the player (while the player is running!), to allow use to add our own custom menus and whatever in a more integrated fashion..
