Looking back at it it was a surprisingly lucid post for me...

the latter regrettably.

The only saving grace (for me at least) is that I didn't go out and blow 300 quid on a decent tuner when I intended to. If I had I would have been even more pissed when the started the bitrate slash and burn. Thankfully the Wavefinder only cost me 40 quid and it useful for other reasons than just because it is DAB (the MP2 streaming side of it).
