And correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't beta 13 have a known bug where the battery icon always shows up coming out of standy?

Not to my knowledge, I never get that. I think others have reported something like that, but I don't know if it was a software bug or not. I don't think we ever got to the bottom of that one.
