While we're speaking of suggestions for next year, might I suggest choosing a weekend that doesn't coincide with America's Independence Day (July 4th)?

More to the point, it'd be nice if the meet was earlier to avoid the astronomical airfares. Or I guess that September would probably work to have the same effect too.
