I don't know how to act with the terminal programm. Can someone please help me? I can connect through serial to my EMPEG. But i can't press 'Q' (well i can, but nothing happens).

Remember that sometimes you have to cycle the power on the Empeg (pull and re-insert the plug) after starting hyperterminal.
