Check the attachment to see where it is set. Though make sure to use the drivers with the normal control panel. Last I knew the CCC didn't expose these options yet.

This is normal for any DVI display. My Samsung gere gives me brightness controls and menu repositioning options only when running in DVI. The rest has to be controlled by the source. An Apple display on the PC will be the same as any other LCD on a PC.
