Navigation Options
EMPEG COMPATIBLE

I think that this combination of things is going to be the killer. Most, if not all, factory nav systems use the stereo for various things, most notably sound output, but many are inexorably tied to them otherwise.

If you're okay with aftermarket Nav options, though, maybe not.

That being said, you can get a Volvo S60R sedan or V70R wagon that will support dual-DIN in the dash (with a very inexpensive Volvo-manufactured dash kit) and fits your bill otherwise, I think, other than it being more expensive than you want. Oh, and I think that the semiautomatic transmission sucks, but that's just my opinion of semiautos regardless. Edit: Actually, no. Now I remember that people were complaining that the auto transmission on the Volvo Rs was limiting the engine torque. Lots of folks complaining about that.

I cannot recommend any of the rest of the Volvo line, personally. You might want to look at the XC70, though, maybe. I've not been in one of those.
