Actually, it's just because I want to be able to press ENTER on that dialog box instead of ALT-U.

I can get to that dialog box with a very specific set of keystrokes (Ctrl-esc, esc, alt+f4), I'm just trying to save the extra alt-U at the end. Back in the old days, I used to be able to press Enter for the last keystroke.

Anyhoo. The thread at Annoyances.org that Billy linked contained the exact solution:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ACPI\Parameters\
New Dword value: Attributes
Key Value: 0x70

Now I can go back to pressing Enter. Thanks, Billy!
