I have KVM's that require a signal from the PS2 keyboard before it would send the video signal to the monitor. This would be for each port on the KVM. Do you have the KVM connected to the PC keyboard and mouse ports? I also have a PC that the keyboard won't work if the KVM isn't switched to it before the PC is turned on.
