I vote for external enclosures and use them for your most important data that you want to back up. You'll be able to store them in a few different locations. It was you who posted about losing data, wasn't it? I'm considering doing this with a couple drives that size. I'll take my Quicken data, Web page files, and photos, and put them on two disks. Then I'll alternate which one is at work and which is at home. If I'm really paranoid I might do that with three drives, so that all the backups are never in one place at one time.
Or you could just give them to me. There's always that...
