If the TV execs weren't so consistently behind the times, they'd simply ignore the Writers Guild of America and open the script writing task up to the wilds of the Internet. Seriously, how many fanboys, bloggers, continuity nerds, wanna-be comedians, English majors, and overseas spam mafia would KILL to collaboratively write scripts for their favorite shows? The tidal wave of interest this would generate would actually restore television as a viable medium in the age of New Media.

Come on, execs, with so many potential strike breaking contributors, the union goons can't possibly break ALL of their the legs. Who's with me?
