Nothing wrong with the port settings, as I can also upload logos with logoedit 1.4.

I don't understand, then. Why are you using "download.exe" instead of the newer "upload.exe" that's included with logoedit 1.4? If logoedit works, then upload.exe works. Details of how to use it are in the readme.txt file...
