It should do that. But nearly everyone I mention it to is mesmerized by their existing Cable TV "service", and really just don't get it that paying hard earned after-tax cash, every month, is not necessary to watch really high quality television.

EDIT: Mmm.. just like software, I suppose, except even less of a difference for HDTV.

Maybe if I offered to let them pay me for the service, then it wouldn't be "free" or therefore "obviously" inferior?
