First, I totally pulled that $80 figure out of my ass. I have no idea how much they charge, though this about.com page says that $125 is the price floor. And if you're getting them to fill out a basic tax return with no itemization, you're stupid enough that you deserve to waste that $125.

Second, at least H&R Block does provide some sort of liability coverage: "if we do make an error in the preparatio...st and penalty."
