That's definitely the correct firmware and the correct flashing utility. Unfortunately it doesn't work on my card.

The utility reports that the card has a woefully out of date BIOS from back in 2004. However it won't flash, because the card either isn't flashable or it has the wrong type of flash memory chip. The utility reports the flash chip type as "UNKNOWN" and it only supports known types.

Ah well. Like I said, I need a better SATA card.
