I think the complaint was more about people with luxury or "luxury" SUVs that think they're invincible, when, in fact, they're probably more likely to be, uh, vincible. There's pretty much no situation where a higher center of gravity is going to be better, and we're not talking about situations where a high suspension is going to help anything.
