I was with T-Mobile when I first arrived in Seattle and had coverage problems which were solved when I switched to AT&T, so I'm happy to stick with them for now. Though I'm aware that T-Mobile has improved their coverage recently and that might not apply any more.
T-Mobile should have considered a name change, it is a shame their older bad network is still dragging them down in reputation now. They are doing what they can to reverse that reputation with solid network upgrades, and offering to pay back monthly service if one finds their coverage not to their needs.
