Modern Apple appears to have disdain for desktop computers. The Mac Mini went ages before their recent upgrade. The Pro has gone even longer (MacRumors says 1400+ days and 1800+ days, respectively).

But they have that modular system they've been talking about for a couple of years. Supposedly it's going to be done this year, but who knows? We were supposed to have that charging mat a year ago and that's just a freaking charging mat!

I would hold off, if possible...
