Where I used to work I used a program called Visual Route. You enter the target machine and it gives you the # of hops it took to get there, errors, IP addresses, node names, locations, ms (milliseconds), graphs and the Networks you pass through. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but it's a nifty little program.
