Honda/Acuras have a separate pod on the left of the steering wheel (essentially a mirror of the cruise control pod) for the radio controls.

I looked at getting that for my Honda steering wheel, but if your car didn't come with it, you need more than the pod I think. It looks to me like the steering wheel cover needs to be a different unit with an attachment point for the second pod.

My real fear is messing around in the steering column when it's got the airbag there. Not sure I want to be experimenting in that area...
