The problem with this particular dilemma (is 'analog sound' from turntable inherently better than 'digital sound' from a 16b/sample CD at 44.1k samples/s) cannot be resolved by objective double-blind listening tests. It will always be easy to tell vinyl by lower dynamic range and much higher noise floor.
