So your saying that it would work better w/ the 4V preouts?

I am not referring to the voltage. The 1v outputs should be good for your home system if the volume is turned up to 0db (maximum non-overdrive volume).

I meant that the physical plugs, the RCA connectors, weren't meant to be docked and undocked and might not work reliably. But then again, neither is the power plug or the ethernet plug and others seem to have made those work.
