Correct. But be very careful how you design/build that ac power plug setup. The player's power plug-in jack is relatively fragile, and won't like having a plug forced into it with even the slightest misalignmnet. What happens is that the spring-loaded ground contact gets bent and the player then thinks it is always on a/c power even when it is in the car, so you lose your in-car personality (eq settings, fade control, dimmer control, etc.). This has happened to a number of player owners.
