How about this:
add a menu item "pasteboard" that contains "cut, copy, paste, delete".

So -> you are listening to a song, press pause or be quick.
Use the "copy" item.
Then go to another playlist, play a song, Use the "paste" item, and VOILA the copied song is inserted in the playlist after the current song !

And so on with "cut" and delete ...

I hate to attach my empeg to the pc just because i sorted ONE rock song into a wrong playlist...

Please implement something like this or have better ideas ...

There are no plans to add actual static playlist editing on the empeg itself; the disks are mounted read-only, for starters!

You will (in 1.1) be able to mark tracks for attention next time you sync with the PC, meaning it's much easier to deal with issues like this.

Cool, that's a good step forward, i always forget which track had a "CRRZONCK" in it, so i have to rip it again :-)
