I still think the odds of actually getting Rio Centrals is very slim-to-nonexistant. But - I have already received more requests (email, PM or in forum) for players than I ordered!!! IF they actually ship, then I will worry about it and contact people, probably in some random order.

Should we set up a "registry" of interested buyers and excess sellers, i.e., some cheesy web form? I wonder what the optimal economic thing to do here would be. On one hand, many of the sellers-to-be want to get some profit, but there also seems to be a desire to sell within the community.

Maybe we could do some form of a sealed-bid auction. Hmm...

Or you could just do a private auction on ebay. However, since the units haven't shipped (and I'm still not convinced they will), this might be getting ahead of things.

Actually I meant "if they were going to ship today" in reference to Russmeister's earlier post about them shipping this morning.

every item i've ever ordered from the estore has arrived while the online status still reads "processing", and before i received a shipping confirmation email. so, this sounds par for the course.

Well, it seemed everything on in the estore is backordered at this point, with the occasional item sold out or just unavailable. I assume they're switching over to their own stand alone store... You do think they'd have someone there to cancel our oders, but maybe they figure there's no rush.

They told me that on the phone but I have not seen a change is status yet. It still says processing. I'll give them a call back at some point today and see what response I get.
